England:
England defeated Sweden 3-2 on Friday night to leave them needing just one point from Tuesday’s match to secure quarterfinal qualification, and eliminate their opponents out of Euro 2012. Against Sweden in the second fixture, England put forth an effort that felt like a desperate attempt at saving national pride. England, a nation constantly under the microscope mainly for years of underachievement and poor results, showed on Friday that the timeless stigma of disappointment could be a thing of the past.
After the thrilling 3-2 win that left England within a point of progression from UEFA EURO 2012 Group D, manager Roy Hodgson spoke of a "job well done". Danny Welbeck's clever flick from a cross by the substitute who had also equalised, Theo Walcott, decided the game and eliminated Sweden, leaving coach Erik Hamrén proud of his team but bemoaning a lack of luck.
England will travel some 10,000km between Poland and Ukraine for their three group matches but they could not be happier in Krakow, where even the weather feels like home.
If England qualify from Group D as runners-up, they will not play in Poland at all during the tournament. Temperatures inside the Donbass Arena in Donets’k were in excess of 30C in Monday's opener against France and next Tuesday's decisive clash against co-hosts Ukraine is likely to be contested in similarly sweltering conditions.
Walcott who scored and then created Danny Welbeck’s winner against the Swedes to put England second on goal difference to France in the group - suffered a recurrence of a hamstring injury in training yesterday and is doubt for the game against Ukraine tomorrow. He will now be assessed by England’s medical staff before Hodgson makes a final decision.
Roy Hodgson reverts to a standard 4-4-2 formation most probably Waine Rooney will replace in line up Andy Carrol the Liverpool striker who scored the first goal against Sweden last Friday , and will start alongside Danny Welbeck in attack for England match against Ukraine. Walcott after the fantastic game against Sweden most likely will start in line ups against Ukraine replacing Ashley Young .Otherwise, England is unchanged, with Scott Parker, Steven Gerrard and James Milner completing Roy Hodgson's midfield.
At the back, Glen Johnson, John Terry, Joleon Lescott and Ashley Cole retain their places, with Joe Hart selected once again in goal.
Probable line up for England:
England (4-4-2): Hart- Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Cole - Milner, Gerrard, Parker, Walcott - Welbeck, Rooney.
Manager/Coach : Roy Hodgson

Ukraine:
Oleg Blokhin's men got off to a great start by beating Sweden in their opening game, but lost their second game from group D , 0-2 in front of France.
Blokhin admits France adapted to the weather conditions better. The 59-year-old doesn’t believe that the hour-long break had any effect on the Euro 2012 co-hosts as they fell to defeat in Group D to hand their quarterfinal hopes a blow.
Ukraine now faces England, with its qualification hopes for the quarterfinals dealt a blow. Ukraine midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk conceded that the better team won after France defeated the co-hosts in Donetsk yet he believes they can do better against England on Tuesday. “As the coach told us, we still have to play against England. We have nothing to lose. We need to go forward and play the next game well. Against England I think it's possible to get a 1-0 win. We need to play more compactly, perhaps control the ball more in defense, control all areas of the pitch and go forward on counterattacks. It's going to be a good game. England are a top team. I think it will be easier than playing against France.” Ukraine now need a win against England in Donetsk on Tuesday to avoid elimination from Group D, the press said.
Probable line up for Ukraine:
Pyatov - Husyev, Khacheridi, Mykhalyk, Selin - Tymoschchuck, Rotan Nazarenko, Konoplyanka- Voronin, Shevchenko
